Introducing PETE...

The newest member of the Cowichan Valley Regional District's Development Services team is PETE.
As a Planning & Environment Technical Expert, PETE is here to answer frequently asked questions through, "ASK PETE" cartoon strips, created by Vancouver Island artist Pete the Pen.
Watch for PETE's advice in the "Living in the CVRD" section of the Cowichan Valley Citizen newspaper. He'll provide information on a range of important issues, including: backyard burning, building near steep slopes or adjacent to water bodies, and much more.

Do you have a question for PETE now?

Before you cut vegetation, trim trees or undertake any activity on a steep slope check with the Development Services staff to ensure your actions do not destabilize the slope and cause a dangerous situation. Pop in and see us at 175 Ingram Street in Duncan or call us at 250-746-2600.
