We strive to keep you informed of what's happening in our region. There are many ways for you to view events.
The Default View is with all of your calendars selected.
  • To view the available calendars, click Select Calendars. Put a check beside the calendars that you want to view and click View Selected Calendars and you will only see the items in the calendars you checked.
  • To View by Month click on the "<<" or ">>" buttons on the Monthly Calendar.
  • You can also enter a specific date to see the events for that day.
  • You still have the option of viewing a printable month and week’s calendar with your selection of calendars on it.
  • Submit events, as a nonprofit organization, to the Cowichan Valley Community Calendar

Emotional First Aid
This 1-day course teaches participants how to recognize emotional responses to emergencies, manage emotions and perform needs assessments and triage. Emotional First Aid is a set of life skills used by lay citizens and emergency responders to provide the support needed by a person who is emotionally challenged immediately following a crisis event.

Dine Around the Cowichan Valley - Feb. 16 - Mar. 8
From February 16 to March 8, enjoy a three-course dinner at some of The Cowichan Valley's hottest eateries. Meals feature wine pairings suggestions (wine cost extra) and give you a taste of what dining in The Cowichan Valley is all about...local seafood, pasture-raised meats,artisan cheeses outstanding organic produce and wild foods from the forest prepared with an appreciation of the regions bounty.

Rodgers and Hammerstein's 'Carousel" Musical - Mar. 3 - Mar. 7
Named Best Musical of the Twentieth Century by Time Magazine, with original dances by Agnes de Mille, Carousel follows the story of the swaggering carnival Barker, Billy Bigelow who captivates and marries the naive millworker Julie Jordan. The show is a dramatic testimony to the power of love. OF all the shows they created it was Rodgers and Hammerstein's personal favorite.

Bluegrass with the Back40Boys - Mar. 29
The popular Back40Boys return to the Saltair pub for a toe-tapping evening of traditional and original Bluegrass music. Great food too with a menu special "all you can eat" roast beef $11.95.
