Yellow Point Park

Yellow Point Park Engagement Poster - "Planning for the Future"

WHAT’S HAPPENING?

The Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) is preparing a park management plan for Yellow Point Park!

Yellow Point Park is a provincial crown lot that is managed as a local community park in Electoral Area H by the CVRD under a long term lease with the Province of BC. As part of the process to renew the lease at this time, a management plan for the park is being developed to support the application. The park management plan is intended to affirm the community’s recreational and environmental values for Yellow Point Park, and identify outdoor recreational and conservation priorities to guide management and use of the park into the future.

The engagement phase is now complete. With the input received, a Park Management Plan is being drafted for board approval and subsequent lease renewal.
