Recently, the Cowichan Valley Regional District's web provider, CivicPlus, took action to guarantee the energy that powers our website is offset by investing in clean, renewable energy. They have purchased renewable energy certificates called BEF Carbon Offsets from the Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF) to support renewable energy generation methods that offset the effects of burning fossil fuels.
