Parks and Trails in the Cowichan Valley

The Cowichan Valley Regional Districts Parks and Trails Division manages and protects over 184 park sites throughout the Region. There are nine Electoral Areas with approximately 176 community parks, and eight regional parks  for a total area of 2116 hectares that are managed through the Parks Program. In addition to these Community and Regional Parks the 122 kilometre Cowichan Valley Trail and Historic Kinsol Trestle are also managed under this program all of which are easily accessible and offer a variety of park amenities from trails to playgrounds and beach accesses.
