Depending on what you’d like to do, it may require a picnic shelter reservation, or a special event permit. If you are organizing a group event in a park with 20 or more people it is best to contact CVRD Parks and Trails Staff. Please review the following options available.
To hold a Special Event in a CVRD Park: A Special Event Park Permit is required to hold an event in a CVRD park.

If your proposed event will exceed 60 people or has set up requirements a Special Event Permit Application must be completed. Applications must be submitted no less than 45 days prior to the proposed event date. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval, so the earlier you apply, the earlier the CVRD can advise you on whether or not your special event request will be approved.
