After School Program 

Kindergarten - Grade 4

This 10-month After School program will help your child grow courage, develop resiliency skills, self-confidence and learn about being active for life. Partnerships with local community organizations will allow for a varied curriculum such as the STEAM projects and opportunities to try different sport types while learning fundamental movement skills as part of a physical literacy component to this program. Worried about the cost of this program? Talk to staff about our payment option and recreation subsidy program. Bussing is available; inquire at CLSA. *This program is exempt under the Childcare Licensing Regulations section 3(f)(i and ii). Parent participation is not required. Healthy snacks provided.

Introduction to Ukulele 

Ages 13+

The ukulele’s popularity has surged in the last few years with good reason; it is fun and easy to play! Students will learn proper tuning, positioning, chords and scales with a focus on learning rhythms from around the world. There will also be opportunities for singing along. Please bring your own ukulele for each class and a music stand for the final performance.

Music and Movement

Ages 1 - 4

Join us on this music and movement journey with your little one. This program is a unique experience that teaches you about your child’s development and how you can support them in all areas of their early learning. Your child will learn about rhythm through music and instruments.

Babysitters Course 

Ages 11 - 15 

This is a basic first aid and caregiving skills for youth program. Participants will learn how to provide care to younger children in a variety of age groups, and how to prevent and respond to emergencies. The course offers youth the training to promote themselves as a babysitter to prospective parents.
