We are updating our Official Community Plan for Area F
The Official Community Plan (OCP) is a plan for the future. It details how the Electoral Area will grow and develop over a 25- to 30-year period by guiding future land use and policy decisions. CVRD is updating the Area F OCP to ensure that it meets current Provincial guidelines and best practices regarding things like greenhouse gas emissions, camping, and strategies for protecting water quality and fish habitat in Cowichan Lake.
You'll see from the following map that the geographical area that the OCP covers doesn't exactly align with the boundaries of the Area F Electoral Area. This is due to a recognition that the Paldi area is more closely aligned with area E.
