Mill Bay Age-Friendly Community Survey -- NOW LIVE Online!
This survey is part of the community consultation process, to understand the age-friendliness of the community of Mill Bay, and the South Cowichan more generally. The survey will close on May 10, 2017.

Project Kick-Off, April 12, 2017The Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) is undertaking an Age-Friendly Assessment and Action Plan with the community of Mill Bay. To launch this process, the CVRD is hosting a free public lecture by Dr. Elaine Gallagher on successful Age Friendly initiatives in rural and remote communities in BC on the following date:
The CVRD is exploring the age-friendliness of Mill Bay Village. Funding was received in December 2016. The project will involve completion of an "Age-Friendly" Assessment in the Spring of 2017, with the development of an Action Plan to resolve any priority issues that arise. The project is being conducted with the assistance of a Community Advisory Committee, made up of representatives of community groups and agencies serving seniors in Mill Bay, and Barefoot Planning out of Victoria.
