Cowichan Bay Marine Gateway/Boat Launch

The Cowichan Bay Marine Gateway is a perfect place to launch your kayak or canoe for a day on the water.  The park is equipped with a picnic shelter and a Naturescape play area. Use the public dock to launch small boats. To get here, head east off the Trans-Canada Highway onto Koksilah Road and take a left onto Cowichan Bay Road through the seaside village of Cowichan Bay. The park is on the right hand side, just past Hecate Park and the viewing platform. A small parking area is located at the site. Hecate Park is also located here at the Marine Gateway.

Cowichan Bay Boat Launch 

Cowichan Bay Boat Launch is located at Marine Gateway. The Cowichan Bay Boat Launch is the only public boat launch located between Mill Bay and North Cowichan. Please remember that there is no overnight parking allowed in the park.

How to Get There

Cowichan Bay Marine Gateway address 1865 Cowichan Bay Road, Cowichan Bay. Head east off the Trans-Canada Highway onto Koksilah Road and take a left onto Cowichan Bay Road through the seaside village of Cowichan Bay. The park is on the right hand side, across from Wessex Road.
