Ages 50+

This singing wellness program is ideal for those over 50 years of age who suffer from ailments such as Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s and stroke that affect the quality of their life. This a non-performance choir with piano accompaniment focusing on gentle stretching, vocal exercises, and singing familiar songs. Join us each week as we develop a wellness group of support and trust through the magic of singing.

Intro to Ukulele

Ages 13+

The ukulele’s popularity has surged in the last few years with good reason; it is fun and easy to play! Students will learn proper tuning, positioning, chords and scales with a focus on learning rhythms from around the world. There will also be opportunities for singing along. Please bring your own ukulele for each class and a music stand for the final performance.

Yin Yoga with Terri

Ages 15+

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga exercise with Asanas postures that are held for longer periods of time. Yin Yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body - the tendons, fascia, and ligaments with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. This is a meditative approach to yoga; it’s goals are awareness of inner silence, bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality.
