Community Satisfaction Survey Launches in Cowichan Valley
Duncan, BC - When your phone rings it could be someone calling to ask you about life in the Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD).
The CVRD is working with NRG Research Group to conduct a Community Satisfaction Survey to ask residents about quality of life, delivery of programs and services as well as how best to communicate with its residents.
“We conducted our last community survey in 2011,” explains Chair Jon Lefebure. “We know a lot has changed in five years. The survey allows us to get feedback from residents that we may not hear from on a regular basis.”
Starting Monday, September 19 over 600 residents throughout the Cowichan Valley will receive a call asking them to take part in the 12 minute phone survey. The phone survey will include both landlines and cell phones. Residents who do not get a call but would like to participate can complete an online version of the survey at www.nrg-surveys.com/cvrd.
The input received from the community will help the CVRD in delivering programs and information in a way that best meets the needs of the community as well as be aware of any pressing community concerns.
