The Province has lowered the Drought level for East Vancouver Island to Drought Level 3. As a result, most Water Restrictions for the Cowichan region are now lowered to Stage 2 (with the exception of Lake Cowichan - which will remain at Stage 3 and the Shellwood, Burnum and Dogwood Ridge systems, which will remain at Stage 4).
