Keep an eye out around town for our new bus ads featuring the safe recycling of household hazardous waste (HHW).  Did you know that household hazardous materials can cause serious safety problems such as fires and explosions when improperly disposed of?  

Let’s work together to keep these items out of curbside recycling and garbage totes!

Hazardous materials include: 

• Batteries
• Electronics
• Solvents
• Pesticides
• Flammable Liquids
• Gasoline
• Propane Canisters/Bottles

Please take these items to a Recycling Centre to be properly handled and recycled.
